The Story Behind the Photo
One of the things I enjoy most about hiking alone is being able to stop whenever something catches my eye. Looking out from Froggatt Edge, the rolling hills seemed to fade layer by layer into the distance beneath the heavy cloud cover. The soft light and misty conditions reduced the contrast between each ridge, creating a sense of depth that drew my attention far beyond the valley below.
This photograph is displayed as Layers of the Valley and catalogued as Froggatt Edge Valley View, Peak District, connecting the gallery title with the subject and location described on this page.
