Journal Comments
If you leave a comment on a journal post, the name and comment text you enter may be displayed publicly after moderation. Email addresses are optional, kept private, and are not shown in the page source, public comment output or structured data.
Comments are not fully anonymous. To protect the site from spam and abuse, Bowes Photo may process security information such as a first-party commenter token, hashed network identifiers, hashed browser information, moderation signals, likes and reports. These identifiers are used for security and moderation, not marketing.
Bowes Photo uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help verify that comment submissions are legitimate. Turnstile tokens are verified server-side and raw CAPTCHA responses are not stored after verification.
Newsletter Subscribers
If you subscribe to the Bowes Photo newsletter, your email address will be stored and processed by MailerLite.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter email.
Payments
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Bowes Photo does not store or have access to your full payment card details.
Print Fulfilment
When you purchase a print, relevant order and delivery information may be shared with our print fulfilment partner, Prodigi, solely for the purpose of producing and delivering your order.
