After a week-long heatwave that saw temperatures climb into the mid to high 30s every day, Sunday brought a welcome change, with the temperature dropping to a much more comfortable 23°C.
With the cooler weather finally arriving, I couldn't resist getting back out with the camera. I headed north to Sutton Bank, a location I've visited before and knew would offer some fantastic photographic opportunities.
It was here that I captured this panoramic image from what many describe as the **"Finest View in England."** I have to admit, the view really is spectacular. Whether it's truly the finest in the country is open to debate, but it's certainly one of the most impressive and, importantly, one of the most accessible viewpoints I've visited. Looking out across the rolling landscape, it's easy to see why this spot has earned such a reputation.
After spending the previous week avoiding the intense heat, it felt great to be back outdoors, camera in hand, enjoying the Yorkshire countryside once again.
