Exploring the trails and hills of Derbyshire is something I never tire of, especially when the weather turns dramatic. The dark, heavy clouds moving across the valley gave the landscape an almost cinematic atmosphere, with patches of sunlight breaking through to illuminate parts of the countryside below.
In the distance, Riber Castle stands overlooking the rolling hills and scattered villages, adding a strong sense of history and scale to the scene. What I loved most about this moment was the contrast between the calm beauty of the landscape and the tension created by the approaching weather, capturing Derbyshire in one of its most atmospheric moods.
