The Story Behind the Photo
While exploring the woodland, I spotted this squirrel climbing at the base of a tree surrounded by spring flowers and bright green undergrowth. It paused just long enough for me to take the photograph before disappearing back into the trees.
What drew me to the scene was the contrast between the small squirrel and the large tree trunk towering above it, along with the soft colours scattered throughout the grass. The image feels calm and full of life at the same time, capturing one of those small moments in nature that are easy to miss unless you stop and look closely.
